The Car & Passenger Ferry Terminal is a Transport building that provides Car & Passenger Ferry services, added in the Rush Hour expansion pack.
Ferry Terminals are lots that provide ways for passengers and cars to cross bodies of water without a bridge, or across city borders. However, Sims boarding at a Car & Passenger Ferry terminal can only alight at another Car & Passenger Ferry terminal. Passenger Ferry and Car and Passenger Ferry traffic do not mix and exist as two separate virtual networks.
