Starting in March 2007, SimCityPlaza became the successor of the now defunct SimsZone, one of the largest German sites about the Sim games. All SimCity related content from SimsZone was transferred to SimCityPlaza, and the new SimCityKurier became the download area for all SimCity 4-related downloads. Apart from reviews and general information about the game, SimCityPlaza also features a wide variety of tutorials for the game, as well as custom content creation tools like the BAT. A special section about the NAM explains the mod in detail and shows many hints and suggestions how to use it in the game. Other sections include a comprehensive SimCity 4 FAQ, a comparison of the four major SimCity versions, funny screenshots, a brief overview about SimCity: Societies, and the old SimCity 3000-related content that was transferred from SimsZone.
