Virgin Shores is an Interactive City Journal created by deathtopumpkins. The CJ is updated at Simtropolis semi-regularly (about once a week or two), but updates usually number 20-30 pictures in length. The CJ recently joined the Alliance of Fuel Developing and Exporting States as a founding nation.

History:

The CJ was started on June 10th, 2008, with the opening post containing an SC4Terraformer overview shot of the region. Over the next couple days, updates progressed periodically, as the town grew. By update 4, oil had been discovered, and soon a refinery sprang up, exponentially increasing the town's population. Once a fanbase had been established, updates slowed down a bit, but that didn't stop people from posting, and soon whole pages were being filled with nothing but replies. Shortly after this was when the CJ first went interactive, when one commenter requested the ability to purchase a house in the ever-growing town. To cope with the volume of requests that came pouring in, psander5 was quickly hired to represent the City Planning Department.
