The Landmark Effect is an effect emitted by lots that increases nearby Commercial desirability. Placing a lot that emits the Landmark Effect (such as a Landmark) will usually result in higher wealth and density Commercial development nearby.
When defining the Landmark Effect for a lot, one specifies the radius over which the effect acts, and the intensity of the effect.
The Landmark Effect is similar to the Park Effect, which acts on Residential properties.
