The BSC Texture Index is an attempt to organize the Instance ID numbers of all overlay- and base textures in a single place to avoid duplicate usage of an IID number, which would cause conflicts in-game. Everyone who needs a range of texture IID's, can ask for one at either the Simtropolis or SC4D version of the thread. However, the amount of possible IIDs is limited, so do not reserve one if you know you will not be using it. A similar index of Network Textures is maintained by the NAM Team.
