PNG, or Portable Network Graphics, is an image format often used in video games.

Its DBPF 1.0 Type ID is 856DDBAC

Its DBPF 2.0/3.0 Type ID is 2F7D0004

SimCity 4 uses it for a variety of purposes. It is used for screenshots taken in-game, but it is also the format used for menu icons and textures.

SimCity uses it to store User Interface elements.
