PNG, or Portable Network Graphic, is an image format often used in video games.

SimCity 4 uses it for a variety of purposes. It is used for screenshots taken in-game, but it is also the format used for menu icons and textures.

SimCity uses it to store User Interface elements. Its Type ID is 2F7D0004.
