something to do with RCI

RCI Zones are what the mayor uses to develop his/her city. Using RCI zones allocates that development of a certain zone type (weather it being residential, commercial or industrial) of buildings can be constructed there.

RCI zones can further be divided up into their density. The higher the density, the more costly the tiles are to zone.

Residential Zones

-Light residential: single family homes and the lot.

-Medium residential: small apartment complexes and townhouses.

-Dense residential: large apartment complexes and projects.

Commercial Zones

-Light commercial: small shops and office complexes.

-Medium commercial: average-sized shops and office towers.

-Dense commercial: large shops and tall office towers.

Industrial Zones

-Agricultural: farms and orchards. Requires a lot of land and specific conditions to grow.

-Medium industrial: small factories and assembly plants. High-tech industry requires specific conditions to grow.

-Heavy industrial: large factories and assembly plants. High-tech industry requires specific conditions to grow.
