RCI

RCI stands for Residential, Commercial and Industrial, the main building and zone types in SimCity 4. RCI is the graph that is seen in the game menu, depicting the demand for each type in a particular city at the present time. It can be further expanded to view the actual amount of demand, and the wealth/type of the RCI.

RCI can be a useful tool when expanding your city. It tells you from a general perspective what your sims want and what they don't. Using a highly demanded zone type typically yields much more development than a undemanding zone type.
