Originally opened on November 5, 2008, with gentle persuasions from rooker1 in the month prior, Commonwealth of Marathon has become a successful MD at SC4Devotion, thanks to a sizable amount of support from the SC4D community. Marathon moved from Recently Published to Best Sellers on November 15, 2008, a period of just over ten days.

Currently, Marathon has showcased a mix of random pictures, with content ranging from rural and suburban to urban and industrial, as well as tutorials and step-by-step examinations of terraforming and highway placement.
