This Category is designed to act as a gathering point for buildings in SimCity 4 that belong to the High-Tech Industrial group and were made by Maxis. The custom equivalent is Category:I-HT Growables/Custom

High-Tech industrial is a class of industrial buildings that produce high-end goods or are related to scientific testing.
They place a lot of demand on your Utilities and require an Educated workforce, but produce very little Air and Water pollution. It is also the only class of Industrial that doesn't carry a negative effect on nearby Residential development.
In general, they also produce less overall pollution than both Dirty Industrial and Manufacturing Industry, however usually produce more garbage.
