The CSG File Exchange (CSGfx) was a forum-based file exchange that was unique compared to most other file exchanges. It allowed users the freedom of uploading any type of content (including fully rendered ready-to-play city tiles and regions), but the quality of the submission descriptions was controlled to ensure that the content was well described and any required dependencies are easily found by links. The advanced search features and intuitive structure allowed content to be easily found, and noteable teams were to progressively have their own sub-sections to release their own content. This exchange not only exclusively hosted CSGdesign's uploads, but had a huge range of uploads from many of the content creators in the community.

The CSGfx, like its parent CSGforums, was closed in mid-2014
