The Large Plaza is a Civic Building that provides Beautification and Recreation for your Sims.

Parks provide a Park Effect over a fixed radius, in addition to usually cleaning up air and water pollution and increasing CAPs.

Plazas in particular are designed for commercially-dominated areas. Instead of reducing pollution, they carry a hefty Landmark effect, usually on-par with a much larger and more expensive landmark.
